It is also very easy to make this very tasty black jamun with mawa.
2 cups mawa (mashed)
1/4 cup flour
3-3 tbsp milk powder and arrowroot
For the syrup:
3 cups sugar
8-10 little saffron
ghee for frying

Method: For the syrup:
Mix sugar and 2 cups of water in a nonstick pan and cook till a string syrup is formed.
Take out the black foam. Add saffron and take it off the flame.
For the Black Jamun:
Mix all the ingredients and knead well.
Make long jamuns by taking the mixture with greased hands.
Fry ghee in a pan on low flame till it becomes golden and black.
Soak the hot jamuns in syrup for 1 hour.
Serve hot or cold as desired
